Founder Brad Ciociola has spent more than a decade in the marine industry as the owner of Carolina Boat Company in North Carolina. When he's not at the dealership, you'll likely find him offshore with his family chasing billfish and competing on the North Carolina tournament circuit.
Built by fishermen, for fishermen, Short Rigger celebrates the offshore lifestyle—the boats, the fish, the camaraderie, and the pursuit that keeps us coming back to the blue water.

Short Rigger was born in North Carolina. We made our bones fishing the Graveyard of the Atlantic from Morehead City to Manteo.
We celebrate the tides that bind us; be it in the cockpit of a battlewagon in the gulfstream, the dock after a long day or a summertime tournament party. We all fly the same flag.
